Only three months after re-opening with a new team, The Deerpark Restaurant was voted Restaurant of the Year 2003 (Taste of Staffordshire) and also overall "Judge's Choice", this was followed the next year by winning "Pub of the Year 2004". Also awarded an AA Rosette. 2005 is no exception The Meynell has been awarded "Pub of the Year 2005" and have achieved third place for "Restaurant of the Year 2005".
